Terms and conditions - Gather Round Competition

As part of the AFL Gather Round festivities, UPark is hosting an interactive on-site activation to connect with visitors in the city. Participants are invited to take part in a handball challenge and enter the competition by subscribing to receive UPark updates and offers.

Terms and Conditions – UPark Gather Round Competition

1. Promoter
The Promoter is the City of Adelaide (ABN 20 903 762 572) of 25 Pirie Street, Adelaide SA 5000. Phone: (08) 8203 7203.

2. Competition Period
The competition opens at 10:00am Wednesday 8 April 2026 and closes at 2:00pm Sunday 12 April 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility
Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or over. Employees of the City of Adelaide and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must:

  • Successfully complete the on-site activation by handballing a football through the giant ‘U’
  • Scan the QR code provided on site
  • Complete and submit the online entry form via OpenForms, including:
    • First name
    • Last name
    • Email address
    • Phone number
  • Agree to receive communications from UPark by selecting the relevant checkbox

Only one (1) entry per person is permitted.

5. Prize
There is one (1) prize to be won:

  • A $300 AFL Store Gift Voucher

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • The winner will be drawn at random on Monday 13 April 2026.
  • The winner will be contacted via phone and/or email using the details provided at entry.
  • If the winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours, the Promoter reserves the right to select a new winner.

7. Privacy and Communications
By entering this competition, entrants:

  • Consent to their personal information being collected for the purpose of administering the competition
  • Agree to be added to the UPark email database to receive updates, offers, and promotional communications

Entrants may unsubscribe at any time.

8. General Conditions

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  • Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
  • The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time without notice.
